Tea dances, balls and ceilidhs
Our programme of participatory dance takes our audiences from ballroom to barn dancing - giving you the opportunity to swing a partner around the beautiful Corn Exchange in a variety of styles. Look out for regular tea dances, ceilidhs and balls - often preceded by workshops for beginners or anyone wishing to refresh their footwork.
Start your weekend the right way with some cathartic and soulful singing with Mahasukha most Saturday mornings in the Founders Room. This uplifting harmony workshop with sacred song and heaps of infectious enthusiasm is guaranteed to get your spirit soaring.
We offer a variety of workshops to accompany the music, theatre and dance programme here at Brighton Dome, giving you the opportunity to work with world-class practitioners to learn new skills, covering everything from stage fighting to performance poetry.
Post-show discussions & open rehearsals
Pre- and post-show talks are a great opportunity to hear directors and company members give an insight into their work, while open rehearsals are a fascinating glimpse into the artistic process. Look out for these throughout the season, particularly in our theatre, dance and classical music strands.
