Changes affecting your visit

As we prepare for a major renovation of Brighton Dome Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre - the first phase of an ambitious heritage and culture-led plan for the whole of the Royal Pavilion Estate - you will notice some changes to your visit over the coming months.

Daytime opening hours
While we focus on laying the groundwork for our upcoming refurbishment plans for the Grade 1 listed Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre, which will include a redeveloped catering offer, we regret there will be no regular daytime café facility on-site. However, the Brighton Dome foyer will be accessible for visitors during events at scheduled times. We will also continue to provide light refreshment options for audiences for some daytime and evening events and a full bar service for all evening events.

Ticket Office
For the duration of the renovations of our venues, the Ticket Office will be moving from New Road to a new location on Church Street, supported and co-designed by Brighton architects ZSTa and SQ1 Design Workshop. While the Ticket Office facilities are being transferred on Wed 18 Jan 2017, there will be no booking available by phone or in person. However, they'll be back in action from the next day, Thu 19 Jan 2017, at 10am when the new location opens. This will also be the location to pick up tickets prior to performances.

External venues
With preparatory work starting in the Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre this autumn, you will find us occasionally popping up in partner venues across the city, including the recently-opened Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts (ACCA) at University of Sussex, which will host our much-loved Sunday Coffee Concert chamber music series when they migrate there later in the season. You can find full details of all our partner venues, including directions and accessibility information here

Thank you for bearing with us at this exciting time of change and we hope you’ll join us in supporting our long term future.
