This pioneering Brighton-based company has developed an international reputation for creating innovative site-responsive theatre that takes audiences on extraordinary journeys.
Its relationship with Brighton Dome & Festival dates back to early commissions Who Goes There? (2001), Don't Look Back (2003) and Underground (2005). Before I Sleep − a promenade interpretation of Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard in the old Co-op building − was commissioned for Brighton Festival 2010. It broke box office records, playing to some 21,000 people including an unprecedented six-week extended run. This was followed by co-commission The Rest is Silence, a dreamlike meditation on Shakespeare's Hamlet, which premiered at Brighton Festival 2012 as part of the World Shakespeare Festival.
