Development Officer (Membership and Donations)

£22,000 - £23,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Development Officer focusing on delivery of our Membership scheme and online donations schemes to generate revenue for the charity and provide excellent customer service to our audiences and supporters. It is a particularly interesting time to join us as we prepare to reopen the redeveloped Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre in early 2022.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging campaign communication to grow the number of members year on year, encourage existing members to renew their support to BDBF and help our team manage administrational processes of online donation schemes. You will liaise directly with members and follow administrational and financial procedures for the smooth running of the schemes, as well as report on results and work closely with the Development Department and other teams to grow individual giving schemes to support BDBF’s work.

You will have demonstrable experience in a fundraising, marketing or ticketing environment, looking after supporter/customer relationships, using and developing Customer Relations Management systems/databases, with high degree of computer literacy, excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
