Music Hub Progammes Coordinator

37 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm)
Based at the Sound Rooms, Lewes Road, Brighton
£25,000 Per annum

Create Music is looking for a highly-motivated, full-time Programmes Coordinator for this exciting role, working across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.

The role is focused on working with schools and music/arts organisations to develop and facilitate the Create Music, music hub partnership programme and requires someone with high-level knowledge of music who can work independently to complete agreed projects, while also being flexible and able to work effectively with colleagues and partners.

 You will need to be highly organised and have experience of creating and implementing project plans, with a real passion for working in partnership with others to deliver excellent experiences for young musicians, within an educational setting.  Previous experience of working in music and with young people is essential. You will work closely to the Deputy Director and be required to establish positive relationships with colleagues working in schools and Music Hub partner organisations and so you will need to possess excellent communication and people skills.

You will lead the operational delivery of multiple projects, taking ownership of all project-related administrative tasks and event logistics, working as part of a team to ensure that Music Hub programmes are delivered to a high standard. You will also play an important role in coordinating networks of multiple partners and capturing evidence of participation in and impact of a diverse range of music education activities, so being organised, accurate and able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines is critical. You will also need to be resourceful and creative in your approach.
