Volunteer Coordinator

30 hours per week

£24,000 FTE (£19,460 pro rata)

Fixed Term contract for 4 years

This Heritage Lottery Funded role will contribute to the success of our aim to reconnect and revitalise the historic buildings and gardens; to create a world-class cultural destination for heritage, culture and the performing arts infused with the vibrant spirit of Brighton past, present and future.

As the Volunteer Coordinator for Brighton Dome & Festival you will be responsible for developing and delivering an exciting and extensive volunteer programme. This will involve working in collaboration with colleagues at the Royal Pavilion & Museums and with external partners to recruit and train volunteers and support them in their roles.

For this role, you will need to have experience of managing volunteers and of devising and delivering training for them. You will also need demonstrable experience gained within a museum or heritage interpretation role, education or the performing arts and experience of working with a diverse range of community groups.
