Highly visual performances are those that are particularly enjoyable without aid of hearing. These events are highly visual and contain few or no words. You can also have a look at our full dance & circus and visual arts & film programmes.

Super Sunday

Enter an amusement park of pure amazement with human catapults, trampolines and a wheel of death. The award-winning Finnish company Race Horse Company have created a completely new kind of contemporary circus.

Wizard of Oz

Join Ballet Theatre UK as they follow the yellow brick road and discover all the wonders of Oz. Enjoy Dorothy, the Scarecrow, Tinman, and Lion, (and yes Toto too) as they seek the Wonderful Wizard to find that there's no place like home!

South Africa’s internationally renowned choreographer, Dada Masilo, presents her fearless re-imagining of this iconic classic. Performing in the title role, Masilo brings her stunning high-speed style to the stage, fusing ballet, contemporary and traditional Tswana dance.

Kalakuta Republik
Mon 4 & Tue 5 Nov, 7.30pm

A globalised Africa takes centre stage in this 'thrillingly inventive act of choreographic rebellion' (Le Monde) by Belgian-Burkinan choreographer Serge Aimé Coulibaly. This is dance which is equal parts brutal, bold, fierce and beautiful. 

Acosta Danza: Evolution

International ballet superstar Carlos Acosta and his critically acclaimed Cuban company Acosta Danza perform a programme of new and existing works.
