Celebrates International Women’s Day

A day of workshops, talks, music, dance and stalls. We also provide free creche and family activities.

Free workshops include Women’s Self Defence, Yoga, Make Your Own Sketchbook/Visual Diary, Women’s History, Emotional Freedom Technique, Speaking with Impact, Laughter Yoga and ‘promoting positive images’ activities for children.

Plus a panel discussion on the current wave of feminism with international activists, an exhibition to celebrate 40 years of Brighton Women’s Centre, an alternative therapies zone, a clothes swap stall, a drop in crafts area and much more.

A chance to spend the day in a great atmosphere to celebrate International Women’s day and 40 years of Brighton Women’s Centre.
