Please check back later as more seats may be released
This event is the culmination of the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra’s Education Programme of interactive workshops run by our musicians in local schools in conjunction with SoundCity.
At the Open Rehearsal the children will be introduced to the musicians of the orchestra and their instruments, and will hear some of the pieces that will be played at that afternoon’s concert, including the finale of Saint-Saëns’ musical mystery tour of the animal kingdom The Carnival of the Animals with piano duo Worbey & Farrell, a waltz from Delibes’ comic ballet Coppélia and an exciting brass fanfare by Malcolm Arnold.
Places are free of charge but must be booked in advance.
