Wendy Houstoun
Pact with Pointlessness
‘It might just be Houstoun’s bravest (piece) to date’ London Dance
This is a show that asks the big questions: a philosophical piece of stupidity driven by an urgent sense of futility. It’s a barrage of old time patter and online chatter, triggered by life, death and what to do about it all.
Seasoned performer Wendy Houstoun is in defiant form. Hot on the heels of 50 Acts (winner of the 2013 TMA award for Achievement in Dance), Wendy is treading the boards once more. Funny and moving in equal measure, Pact with Pointlessness is part stand up comedy, part vaudeville eccentricity in a performance of organised chaos.
