As part of a special Digital Dance week of work at Brighton Digital Festival, Frederic Deslias - artistic director of performing arts company Le Clair Obscur - brings his latest work Gol4m to the Brighton Dome for its avant-premiere on Tuesday 23 September.

Performed by dancer Matthew Morris, the multimedia performance seeks to blur the lines between man, his environment, flesh and silicon, taking inspiration from the eponymous creature - originally made from inanimate matter - drawn from Jewish folklore.

In this podcast, Matthew discusses the genesis of the show and the dangers of working with technology - including his interaction with a Tesla coil during the performance.
