Umbrella Club

Events for children and young people with life-shortening conditions and their siblings and carers

Umbrella Club is Brighton Dome's club for children and young people with life-shortening conditions and their siblings and carers. Through this project we provide free tickets to our family shows and workshops, as well as live streaming of selected performances and other members only treats!

We’ve gifted hundreds of free tickets to poorly children, siblings and family members so that they have been able to come along to lots of different shows at Brighton Dome. Umbrella Club ensures that these children and their families have continued access to the arts as well as the chance to create some brilliant memories.

Other organisations across the city, such as Brighton Pavilion and the Museum, have come forward to offer Umbrella Club members free tickets.

'I just wanted to let you know how much we get out of the shows we have been to, thanks to Umbrella Club. It's lovely to know that what we are going to see will be suitable for everyone, and that my disabled son will be able to relax and enjoy the show with his brothers... His brothers love looking out for the umbrella!'
