How to Die of a Broken Heart

Tue 6 Dec 2016

Heartbreak changed Femi’s body and life forever.  This is her solo theatre show about love, illness and not giving up.

Full of truths, laughs and uncomfortable moments How to Die of a Broken Heart is an intimate storytelling experience.

Through stories of her failed relationships, Femi lays bare the desperation so many of us feel when it comes to love, and invites us to both laugh at her mistakes - and accept our own.

How to Die of a Broken Heart illuminates both the beauties and the dangers of loving someone, but ultimately reminds us that broken things - especially hearts - can be mended.

Read our interview with Femi Martin in which she talks about inspiration, creativity and finding humour in painful subject matter.

‘...her experiences are described with the humour and excitement that Martin naturally brings to her everyday life’ Total Theatre
