Discover Our Rich Heritage

Our enthusiastic heritage volunteers are ready to meet you and share captivating stories about Brighton Dome’s past. They offer a sneak peek into our unique spaces, and you can explore the building’s fascinating history on our new interactive digital timeline.

A Space for Everyone

The Gallery Bar, bathed in natural light, provides a vantage point overlooking the Corn Exchange. Immerse yourself in the creative atmosphere where every day offers something different - from watching our technical team set up for performances to catching a glimpse of a dress rehearsal or soundcheck. This fully accessible community space welcomes all visitors. Whether you want to work using our free Wi-Fi, entertain the children, or simply enjoy a unique meeting spot with friends and family, we have something for everyone.

Bring Your Own

Feel free to bring your own food and drink. If you’d like to grab something delicious beforehand, we recommend our restaurant partner, Redroaster, the best cup of coffee in Brighton.

Important Information

Please note that opening times may vary when we host daytime events - please check our website before visiting. Entry is via the Welcome Area on New Road (Brighton Dome Entrance 1). The Gallery Bar has limited seating and may be noisy at times.

Looking in to a cafe, there is a table set up with three visible chairs, two wine glasses and a bottle of champagne set up to the side. There are lots of green plants on display around the restaurant.
