Alvin Ailey: Virtual Masterclass
As a member of Dance Consortium, Brighton Dome is delighted to present a livestream broadcast of a masterclass with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, live from Sadler's Wells.
We are offering dancers age 15+, with an intermediate level of experience, to join the masterclass as it is broadcast live onstage at Brighton Dome.
Participants at Brighton Dome will follow the livestream from Sadler's wells and will be able to learn the choreography to the Company’s new production, Lazarus, by Rennie Harris. The masterclass will be hosted by Hakeen Obiduro and will feature the Company’s Rehearsal Director, Matthew Rushing, and three of the Ailey dancers, who will be teaching the choreography. A short question and answer session with members of the company, rehearsal director and host will happen after the practical section of the masterclass.
This offer is FREE and is open to dancers aged 15+, with intermediate level of experience.
