Lullabies for the Exhausted
Writer and artist Akila Richards collaborated with musician and performer Adriana Lord on ‘Lullabies For The Exhausted’ – a new spoken word poem and soundscape designed to share lullabies with participants from diasporic local communities
The commission resulted in a special evening of lullabies by a vocal group in different languages and from a range of cultures alongside poetry music and song at The Folklore Rooms in December 2023.
