Three Score Dance Company

Dance opportunities for men and women aged 60+ in Brighton & Hove

This project offers contemporary dance opportunities for men and women aged 60+ in Brighton & Hove. Although many of its members have had no prior dance training, their wealth of life experience brings a unique quality to their work. The company is lead by Rehearsal Director, Jason Keenan-Smith, with professional choreographers commissioned to create bespoke pieces for performance. The company is currently housed at the Brighton Dome and is supported by South East Dance with funding from Sport England.

The popularity of the company and interest in taking part has prompted the creation of an associated weekly technique class, which happens in parallel to the company's activity and is now a thriving dance class in its own right. South East Dance is supporting weekly contemporary dance classes for older people (60+) who are interested in having fun and improving their health along the way. Led by Three Score Dance Company's Rehearsal Director, Jason Keenan Smith, the class will include contemporary dance technique and explore creativity. No prior dance experience is needed. Please check the Three Score Dance Company website for further details.

Three Score Dance Company is supported by South East Dance and Sport England, in association with Brighton Dome.
