This December we’re joining forces with The Big Give, the national charity fundraising campaign, to raise funds for young people to create music.

Did you know that our music education service Create Music provides creative opportunities to nearly 20,000 young people across East and West Sussex? We believe that all young people should have access to quality music education, whatever their backgrounds.

We’d love your support this Christmas to help raise much-needed funds to provide 50 Create Music bursaries. These bursaries will allow 50 young people, whose families would otherwise not be able to afford music lessons, to experience the enjoyment that learning an instrument and being part of a group can bring.

'I'm so grateful to the music service and the way it broadened my horizons. It helped me realise music making could be my life, not just a hobby. It was expensive for us, as my family were not well off, but the bursaries meant that I could follow my passion, learn, and grow.'

The Big Give will match fund all donations, up to a total of £5,000, made to the Create Music fund. So, any money you can give will make a really big difference.

The campaign starts on Giving Tuesday, 29 November, and runs until 6 December.

Thank you for your support!
