Brighton Dome celebrates Disabled Access Day

Brighton Dome is delighted to be celebrating national Disabled Access Day with free tours and information about our iconic Grade I-listed heritage venues.

On Saturday 11 March, 10am – 3pm, in the café-bar, our Access Information Hub will be open with details of the facilities on offer at Brighton Dome. Our Visitor Services team will also be on hand to answer questions, and there will be the opportunity to look at the layout of the Concert Hall.

Information will be available on our programme of assisted performances and events, including British Sign Language -interpretation; captioned performances; audio description; touch tours; and relaxed performances. Other local organisations, including Carousel and Possability People, will have information stands.

Our Access Information Hub will also be open on Friday 10 March, 2pm - 4pm in the East Corridor.

Free backstage tours focusing on our venue's rich heritage will be available throughout the weekend, and include integrated touch tour (Sat) and BSL interpretation (Sun):

Sat 11 March

10am -11.15am (includes touch tour)

11.45am - 1pm (includes touch tour)

Sun 12 March

10.30am - 11.45am (BSL-interpreted)

12.15pm - 1.30pm (BSL-interpreted)
