Brighton Dome joins fellow local venues in supporting the nationwide Good Night Out campaign

Brighton Dome has joined fellow Brighton music venues The Haunt and The Hope & Ruin in supporting the national anti-harassment campaign Good Night Out.
The independent campaign was started in 2014 with the aim of eliminating harassment on nights out. Participating spaces agree to display the Good Night Out pledge on posters, which state:
“We want you to have a good night out. If something or someone makes you feel uncomfortable, no matter how minor it may seem, you can report it to any member of staff and they will work with you to make sure it doesn’t have to ruin your night.”
They also receive specialist staff training and workshops to help give them the tools to respond to disclosures of harassment professionally and seriously.
Having started in London, Good Night Out has since gained support from over 100 venues across the country and is now delivered independently through a network of regional organisers who provide advice, posters and support to licensed premises and deliver the Good Night Out Training to staff.
