The Castalian Quartet last performed in Brighton in 2012, as a young ensemble just starting out. Now it returns as a recognized force on the chamber music scene, performing masterpieces by the two titans of the string quartet format, Haydn and Beethoven, alongside a dazzling work by the British composer Thomas Adès, premiered in 2011.
