Carlos will be talking about the themes in his debut novel: Pigs Foot, a big Cuban tale of revolution, family secrets, love and identity across three generations. Pigs Foot has been chosen for the Waterstones 11, the retailer's pick of the best debut novels of the year.Carols Acosta was born in Havana and trained at the National Ballet School in Cuba. He has been a principle at English National Ballet, the Houston Ballet, the American Ballet Theater and The Royal Ballet, danced all over the world and won numerous awards. He is the author of the autobiography No Way Home.
