Founded in 2008, the Borromini Quartet has long been inspired by the charm and variety of Boccherini’s chamber works. This programme — part of the Brighton Early Music Festival — partners one of his characterfully zesty pieces with works by Haydn, ‘the father of the string quartet’, and the Spanish composer Arriago (1806–26).

We are pleased to announce that Brighton Dome’s Coffee Concerts series in association with Strings Attached is now part of the CAVATINA Scheme which provides free tickets for anyone aged 8 – 25 to attend classical music concerts. More information on the scheme and how to claim tickets here.
