Apollon Musagète Quartet

Tue 1 Jul 2014

Dvořák String Quartet No. 11 Op. 61
Szymanowski String Quartet No. 1 Op. 37
Górecki String Quartet No. 1 Op. 62, ‘Already It Is Dusk’

Extremely popular with the audience for last year’s Coffee Concert performance, the Apollon Musagète Quartet is one Europe’s most adventurous and dynamic ensembles. Noted for its fine interpretations of 20th-century and contemporary works, this is amply demonstrated with a programme of two great Polish composers contrastingeloquently with a masterpiece by the great Czech Romantic, Dvořák.

We are pleased to announce that Brighton Dome’s Coffee Concerts series in association with Strings Attached is now part of the CAVATINA Scheme which provides free tickets for anyone aged 8 – 25 to attend classical music concerts. More information on the scheme and how to claim tickets here.
