BUNTY!

Fri 16 May 2014

Featuring Dave the Machine and special guests:

Goodbye Leopold
Leroy Horns (brass)
Beatabet (DJ)

Is it a gig? Is it a theatre? No. It is Multimos, a collection of songs caught in a web of theatrics which follow Bunty through streets, dreams, TV screens and lullaby machines to create a multimedia theatrical journey.

Over the past 8 years, Bunty has established herself pioneering solo vocal music and performance and her experimental loop shows – featuring bears, dancing girls, choirs, installation, projectionists and other special fx – have entertained audiences in underground venues, including disused spaces and old churches.

To celebrate the single launch you will get a sneak preview of the final show, with her new AV ensemble and a chance for you to join an audience choir.

To join the audience choir and be part of the show you can attend a free vocal workshop in the Studio Theatre bar at 6pm.

If you would like to take part in this please email [javascript protected email address] with Bunty! In the subject title.

Brighton Dome project SPECTRUM cultivates and supports the vibrant music scene of Brighton & Hove in partnership with Resident. Our city is brimming with musical talent of all genres and what better way to celebrate that than in our Studio Theatre, offering the perfect platform for acts to be seen and heard.

Resident is more than just a record shop, and as the hub for Brighton’s music scene, we share the same dedication and enthusiasm for the music in and of our city. Since 2004 Resident has been the independent heart of a music-buying and gig-going community in Brighton and beyond, picking up awards and accolades along the way. It prides itself on a welcoming atmosphere whilst espousing a wide and impeccable range of music. Resident will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and we are delighted to have them on board.
