Suzi Ruffell is considering life's big questions... does peaking in high school ruin you for life? Was Miley Cyrus right, is it all about the climb (when it comes to building a career?) And what – scientifically – is the best way to mend a broken heart?

In her brutally honest, funny, and often moving memoir Am I Having Fun Now?, Ruffell winningly tells her life story, and asks a host of experts from Elizabeth Day and Dolly Alderton to Charlene Douglas, Laura Bates, Dr Kirren Schnack and more to help her along the way. From masking anxiety with musical theatre and struggling to find her groove at school, on stage, and in her love life, to (eventually) coming out, falling in love, and becoming a parent, Suzi will lay her life bare with trademark wit, verve and style.

On Tue 3 Jun,  she’ll be at the Brighton Dome Studio Theatre in conversation with stand-up comedian Maisie Adam who is fast on her way from being one of the brightest rising stars of the UK comedy scene to becoming a household name.

Copies of Suzi’s memoir will be available for sale from Kemptown Bookshop at the book signing after the event. Kemptown Bookshops have committed to donating an amount equal to 50% of the ticket income to The Friends of Brighton and Hove Hospitals, which raises funds for projects that support patients and staff in the communities of Brighton, Hove and Newhaven.
