Miss Represented presents: Mirror Mirror

Mon 8 Jul 2019

Join the latest Miss Rep girls in a visual and sound exhibition at Lewes Depot.  Mirror Mirror explores image, identity and reflections; the different sides we show - on social media, in our lives, to ourselves. What do we see in the mirror compared with what we see in our outer worlds? Using photography, sound, music and installation Miss Rep presents a new and thought provoking insight into the lives of young women in today’s world.

Come to the opening of the exhibition on Tue 30 July from 6pm, followed by a rare opportunity to see the Miss Rep documentary Can You See Me Now? on the big screen at 8pm. The exhibition continues for the rest of the week.

Miss Represented is an arts collective of young women who experience challenging life situations. We explore life through the arts. We make powerful and thought provoking work for personal development and social change, and share our work making invisible stories visible, to ask questions, to embrace common ground and to spark vital dialogue across our communities.

Miss Represented is Brighton Dome and Festival’s flagship Creative Learning project. Supported by John Thaw Foundation.
