Winners of the 2023 Kirckman Concert Society Artists and recipients of the prestigious Tunnell Trust Awards, the Elmores are an award-winning London-based Quartet founded in 2017 at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in Manchester, UK.
The Quartet has been mentored by some of the world’s foremost chamber musicians, including Donald Grant (Elias Quartet), Petr Prause (Talich Quartet), Catherine Manson (London Haydn Quartet), and Marc Danel (Quatuor Danel).
The Elmores began their journey as the Studio Quartet at RNCM in 2020, where they were awarded second prize in the CAVATINA Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition at Wigmore Hall. They went on to be appointed as Fellows in Chamber Music at RNCM from 2021 to 2023 and are currently Hans Keller Chamber Fellows at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.
