Four notes that changed the world: a passionate struggle from dark to light

Mozart Overture, The Marriage of Figaro
Mozart Horn Concerto No.4
Beethoven Symphony No.5

James Henshaw conductor
Annemarie Federle horn

Four notes that changed the world. You already know the beginning of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, but that’s just the start of a musical adventure like no other: a passionate struggle from darkness to light, from a genius who declared that Fate itself was knocking at his door.

Conductor James Henshaw lights the fuse, and joins LPO Principal Horn Annemarie Federle in something completely different: pure fun from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the composer whom Beethoven revered above all others. The ultimate comedy overture gets things off to a flying start.
