Hidden Project Conversation Day

Mon 29 May 2017

Join us for a day about the Arts and invisible illness presented by Root Experience.

How can the Arts support artists with invisible illnesses, make work that reflects people’s experience of the world and change perceptions surrounding invisible illness?

Join us for a conversation day about how we can advance work being done, to make the arts a leader for accepting hidden conditions as the mainstream and to support innovative ways of working. How can we continue to support artists to make work, interact with audiences, break down barriers and change perceptions? Join a panel of experts, network and take part in the conversation.

The day is aimed at anyone who is interested in the arts, invisible illness or who would just like to come and learn more. Everyone is welcome.

The Day will be British Sign Language interpreted. Please contact [javascript protected email address] if you would like to talk to us about any of your needs or would like more information about the day.

Join us for coffee and tea from 10:30am and the day will finish at 4pm, with an option to stay for more relaxed conversation and networking until 4:30pm. The day is pay what you can.

Simon Magnus, artistic director of Root Experience, told us how Hidden Project came about. Visit our blog to read more.
