Nils Frahm

Nils Frahm is an accomplished composer, producer and celebrated performer. His unconventional approach to an age-old instrument, played contemplatively and intimately, and on a mesmerising scale through his vast stage shows, has won him many fans around the world. Nils has gained global notoriety for his highly developed sense of control and restraint in his work, as well as a breath-taking level of emotion and personality.

Nils has released 10 solo recordings as well as a number of collaborative works and created the soundtrack for the critically acclaimed 2015 German film Victoria. In performance, he uses an array of equipment from keyboards to tape recorders and moog synthesizers to supplement the piano, creating an utterly unconventional and unique sound.
