Author, broadcaster, Gogglebox star, Just A Minute regular Gyles Brandreth is inviting some of his favourite people to the stage of the Crazy Coqs cabaret room in London’s Piccadilly to talk about their lives (in and out of lockdown) and to tell some of the stories they’ve never told before. Expect the unexpected – anecdotes, surprises, secrets, even a poem or two – for an hour of unusual and memorable entertainment with some of our greatest national treasures – in lockdown and (metaphorically) unmasked.
On February 14, Gyles meets up with JOANNA LUMLEY to talk about her extraordinary life and career. From her childhood in Kashmir to starring on Broadway, from her days as model in the Swinging Sixties through The New Avengers to Absolutely Fabulous, Gyles takes Joanna on a roller-coaster ride through a unique life with amazing (and frequently hilarious) stories of her times with everyone from David Niven to will.i.am – interspersed with magical moments from some of her favourite poets, and love poems…it is Valentine’s Day after all!
