Trio Wanderer

Dvorák Piano Trio No. 4 in E minor, Op.90, B.166 ‘Dumky'
Suk Elegie for piano, violin and cello, Op.23
Schubert Piano Trio No.2 in E flat major, D.929

Vincent Coq piano
Jean-Marc Phillips-Varjabedian violin
Raphael Pidoux cello

Stylish and relaxed, one of Europe’s most sought-after piano trios brings the season to a close with a programme of poise and elegance. Dvořák’s ‘Dumky’ trio, one of his best-known works, is followed by the exquisitely yearning Elegie by his pupil, Suk, then Schubert’s Trio No. 2 fuses sprightliness and poignancy.
