The wearing of face coverings is encouraged throughout the talk

The Chattri talk will focus on how India became involved in a European war, the recruitment of Indian soldiers, their training and preparedness on the Western Front as a fighting force. Some aspects of their war on the Western Front will be touched on including the journey for some to Brighton Hospitals. Here, through their letters, we will get a glimpse of their experiences of the war as well as their treatment in the Royal Pavilion and other Military Hospitals.
