Free Festive Fun Day
Enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie as you explore crafts tables, stalls, workshops and tours in this festive event for the whole family.
Taking inspiration from Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol, this year’s Festive Fun Day celebrates the glorious past, present and future of Brighton Dome. Let your imagination run wild and dress up, engage with stories, and join in with workshops and multi-sensory crafts.

Gladrags Pantomime Dress Up and Photo Booth, 10am – 3.30pm
- Get ready for the Christmas season by dressing up as your favourite pantomime character. Gladrags will provide everything for you to release your inner Cinderella or pantomime Dame. Oh yes they will!

- Over the last year, our Oral History volunteers have collected and recorded memories of Brighton Dome from artists, audience members and staff. Listen to five short sound pieces, created by sound artist Helen Anahita Wilson, based on the stories they revealed.

Dome Concert Hall Stage
Daytime Dance Party - pre-booking essential - Sold out
- Come as you are or dress up in a ballgown or top hat and tails and join in the fun with social dance activist Matthew Black. This is a dance party that will put a smile on your face and twinkle in your toes and you may even learn some new moves along the way. Suitable for all the family

Backstage Tours
Pre-booking essential. Not currently open for public booking.
Your chance to peek behind the curtain and follow in the footsteps of legends such as Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, Beyoncé and David Bowie! Catch a rare glimpse of the entrance to the infamous tunnel to the Royal Pavilion anddiscover some of the more surprising roles our iconic venue has played in history.
