What happens when an experimental pianist becomes a mum?

Experimental pianist and earsthetic’s artist in residence Sarah Nicolls recently created second Inside-Out Piano has some unexpected extra characteristics.

Through beautiful piano-songs, Sarah explores her strange new creation and her parallel journey into motherhood.

See this monolithic piano being moved around the stage, played with like part of the domestic furniture and become weightless in an awe-inspiring moment in this funny, wry and surprising show.
