Casual Hours – £15.54 per hour (subject to pay award for 25/26)

Candidates must have excellent availability throughout May and some dates in April for training. Candidates must offer availability for at least two weekends a month.

Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival are seeking experienced individuals to join our Front of House Security team. You will have the opportunity to welcome and ensure the safety and security of audiences attending a diverse range of events in our beautiful and historic Dome Concert Hall and newly refurbished Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre. Over May we host the Brighton Festival, which offers opportunities to work on a variety of unique events across our venues. 

Candidates must hold an SIA Door Supervisor license and should be friendly, well-presented and have experience working in customer service or as Security with members of the public. You must have the ability to provide a warm reception to a variety of different audiences attending anything from a standing rock gig or busy comedy show to a community open day or classical concert.

Security staff may be looking after entry queues, screening entry, checking credentials, carrying out bag or other searches, looking out for suspicious behaviour, working in the auditorium in crowd management or pit barrier positions and assisting customers.

Shifts are variable with an emphasis on weekend and evening work.
