Head of Communications
We are looking for a creative and resourceful Head of Communications who can manage and direct our communications to maximise the profile and enhance the reputation of all our activities. We believe in the power of the arts to energise and inspire and you’ll help us to tell our stories in the media and across our digital channels.
From the annual Brighton Festival, which we’ll be celebrating the 60th edition in May 2026; an expanded programme year-round of live events by world renowned artists and performers following a major capital refurbishment and restoration of our historic Brighton Dome venues; to inspiring the next generation of musicians in our Sussex-wide music education service, Create Music - we reach diverse audiences and communities across Brighton & Hove, the region and nationally. Ideally, you’ll have experience of working in the arts at a senior communications or media relations role with knowledge of creating effective PR strategies that can speak to both public audiences and stakeholders and proven success of generating national media coverage.
If you’re looking for a new challenge and feel passionate about promoting arts and culture we’d love to hear from you.
