Brighton Dome Receives Funding From the Creative Foundations Fund
We are delighted that we have been awarded funds from the Creative Foundations Fund administered and delivered by Arts Council England. We are grateful that these funds will allow us to carry out some important work to our much loved home.
Brighton Dome is a Grade 1 and 2 listed landmark within the Royal Pavilion estate, comprising three key performance venues central to Brighton Festival in May and year‑round cultural programming. Following the successful redevelopment of the historic Corn Exchange and Studio Theatre, BDBF is prioritising essential upgrades to the 1,800‑seat Concert Hall, last refurbished 25 years ago. This first‑phase project has been funded to focus on modernising production lighting and sound, renewing IT network infrastructure, upgrading assisted listening systems, and improving ventilation to enhance sustainability, accessibility, and our long‑term operational viability.
