Brighton Dome in WW1 & WW2
Sat 6 Nov, 10am-4pm

Join us for a day of free activities exploring Brighton Dome’s role in World War One and World War Two. Sussex Swing will bring wartime dancing back to the Concert Hall, with lessons in the Allies’ Waltz and Lindy Hop. For fans of vintage style, Gladrags Costume Hire will display the fashionable outfits that would have been worn during the era of ‘make do and mend’ and a workshop will demonstrate how to recreate the glamorous Victory Rolls hairstyle. 


Black History Family Day

Don’t miss out on our annual Black History Family Day presented in partnership with Writing Our Legacy. Bring your friends and family along to enjoy arts and crafts, talks and films, creative writing and dancing and drumming workshops. 


Festive Fun Day

Our much-loved Festive Fun Day is back - come along with your family and friends for a chance to make your own Christmas decorations, dance to your favourite Christmas carols, and get in the festive spirit!
