We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022.

A statement from Andrew Comben, Chief Executive of Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival:

“We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We acknowledge her lifelong dedication to her role and her support for the arts, evident through her patronage of many UK theatre, dance, music, art and literary organisations. Brighton Dome will join others across the country by observing a one-minute silence as part of the National Moment of Reflection on Sunday 18 September. We will also close for the bank holiday on Monday 19 September, to mark the day of the funeral.”
