Brighton Dome project SPECTRUM cultivates and supports the vibrant music scene of our city.
Brighton is brimming with musical talent which we love to showcase, offering bands the perfect platform to be seen and heard and audiences the chance to discover something new or see their favourites local acts in our iconic venues.
The redevelopment of our Studio Theatre gives us the opportunity to explore the neighbouring Royal Pavilion estate and do something a bit more unusual.
QM Records
QM Records is a Brighton based record label and events company focusing on upcoming talent and artist development. Since it's establishment in 2013, QM has developed a reputation for hosting good quality live events with exciting new artists. Both Nicholson and Ned from the band Normanton Street are the founders of QM. Together they use their experiences from being in a successful independent band to enable other artists achieve their goals. Although the label is not genre specific, there is a general leaning towards music with soul.

A seven piece band of pure soul, filth and a certain je ne sais quoi, fronted by Turrell who delivers hooky neo-soul melodies with a ridiculously impressive range.
Isle of CC
Influenced by Erykah Badu, Flying Lotus and Lapsley, The Isle Of CC combines original lyrics, electronic neo-soul goodness and distinctive harmonies.

A 7 piece male and female original funk group from Brighton, influenced by a mixture of artists such as Betty Davis, Chic, Stevie Wonder and Funkadelic - the musicianship and coordination of this dynamic group can not be underestimated.
