Led by Tom Veryzer, along with a host of special guest comedians, our Comedy Workshops focus on a variety of elements, from stand-up, improv and character comedy to developing writing skills, building confidence in public speaking, plus observing, questioning, and experimenting with ideas.

The programme consists of 8 workshops across 6 weeks, culminating in a live showcase on Sun 25 Oct, where participants have the opportunity to perform in Brighton Dome’s Studio Theatre.

Across the weeks we’ll look at how material is developed, along with gaining an insight into marketing a show and a glimpse into behind-the-scenes roles.
