Resident Company

This game-changing dance group led by the multitalented Israeli choreographer / musician Hofesh Shechter – became Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival’s first resident company in Nov 2008. 

Their dramatic Concert Hall debut (Uprising / In Your Rooms) was followed by back-to-back world premières of two specially-commissioned new works: The Art of Not Looking Back (Brighton Festival 2009) and Political Mother (Brighton Festival 2010). 

Jun 2011 saw In Good Company, an evening of brand-new works choreographed and presented by five HSC dancers. Political Mother was reprised at Brighton Dome in Jan 2012.
