Artistic Programming
Brighton Dome’s year round programme across Brighton Dome Concert Hall, Brighton Dome Corn Exchange and Brighton Dome Studio Theatre is curated by the producers of music, theatre and dance in our Artistic Planning team.
We programme work based on relationships we have built with artists and companies, and via our artistic development work. We are always open to starting creative conversations with companies and artists that are producing work that fit into our current interests and programming themes but please be aware we rarely programme on the strength of a proposal alone, even if it comes with footage or other materials.
If you are interested in beginning a conversation with us then please consider one of the options below:
Invite us to see your work
We like to see artists work live and develop a relationship over time. Invite us to a sharing or productions of your current work. Although we can’t commit to seeing everything we are invited along to, our producers regularly discuss the invitations and proposals we receive. If you have an event coming up please give us as much notice as possible and send us some information about your company and let us know why you’re interested in building a relationship with Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival. Applications of interest and invitations should be sent in the first instance to artisticplanning@brightonfestival.org – please clearly indicate in your email which genre(s) feature in your work.
Artist Opportunities
Associate & Resident Artists
