Emotions are heightened and pulses quicken in the darkly comic and highly surreal world of Off, a brand new cerebral circus show from cutting-edge French ensemble Cie Kiaï. An incredible cast shows how the body seizes control from the mind when one has lost the ability to express oneself through speech.
Inspired by Oliver Sacks' classic book The Man Who Mistook His Wife For a Hat, and accompanied by hypnotic electro-music, a unique combination of performers including a contortionist, a hip-hop dancer, an acrobat and a clown shine a light on the mysteries of the mind through a vivid blend of circus, physical theatre and contemporary dance.
The star of the show? A very big trampoline.
