Fresh from Bogotá, one of the world’s leading circus companies Circolombia return with the extraordinary Acelere, a high-energy modern circus show with a distinctive Latin feel.
A relentless experience from start to finish, this ‘circo-concierto’ mixes acrobatic feats with dance, live singing, and rapping, all set to an original soundtrack spanning hip hop and electro-cumbia, salsa choke and drum & bass. Brighton and Hove Youth Circus performers aged 10–18 will perform a curtain raiser before each Circolombia performance.
About Circolombia
Circolombia is a modern circus company made up of some of the most revered circus performers in the world, who trained and graduated at the National School of Circo Para Todos (“Circus for All”), a place that supports disadvantaged young people in Colombia to succeed against the odds through circus training, radiating a message of hope and peace within their communities.
