International Women’s Day Celebration

We’re back!

Brighton Dome, Brighton Women’s Centre and Brighton Museum come together again to celebrate International Women’s Day in person and online. Join us for a day of discussions, music, dance, workshops, talks, arts and crafts, performances, causes and campaigns. Everyone is welcome – all ages, all communities together! 

Highlights: 

Free The Nipple Brighton Q&A with The Sassy Show
Join Feminist Protest movement Free the Nipple Brighton in talks with The Sassy Show on matters of intersectional feminism, patriarchy and crushing the oppressive male gaze.

Comedy Writing Workshop
An introduction to comedy writing for the beginner with Belszki.

Panel Discussion: Women’s Safety
This year the panel discussion will focus on women’s safety and in particular how our communities can work together to stop male violence.

Sing Your Heart Out
If you love singing come! If you’re scared of singing, come! You’ll leave singing and dancing with a spring in your step! Led by Musical Director of the Rainbow Chorus, Aneesa Chaudhry.

Pop-up Feminist Bookshop
We’re delighted to announce the return of the pop-up Brighton Feminist Bookshop! Brighton Feminist Bookshop is an independent bookshop and plant-based café based in central Brighton.
