The sublime music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and his extraordinary and fascinating life story are brought to vivid life in this stunning musical drama.

Live on stage, the great 19th century composer - played by actor Jamie Martin - faces a 21st century interview with BBC TV presenter Sally Taylor as interlocutor.

Interlacing the dialogue, Sussex Symphony Orchestra and distinguished soloists perform a selection of Tchaikovsky’s most glorious compositions.

The programme will include excerpts from Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Eugene Onegin, Serenade for Strings, Piano Concerto No 1 in Bb minor, Overture Romeo and Juliet, Violin Concerto in D major and all six symphonies.
