What You’ll See

Lightroom’s fully projected 11-metre tall walls and vast open floor become the canvas for a truly one-of-a-kind presentation. Bringing together a wealth of visual material from a wide range of sources, the show combines rare performance footage, photography, drawings, lyrics, personal notes and sketches to craft the most vivid, detailed and immersive visual exploration yet of Bowie’s worlds. Structured in thematic chapters in a looping presentation, You’re Not Alone brings insight into Bowie’s perspective on the subjects most important to him, including: theatricality, spirituality, songwriting, and the transformative power of creativity. 

What You’ll Hear

You’re Not Alone makes full use of Lightroom’s incredible visual technology and spatial audio. Each track in the show has been newly reconfigured by multiple Olivier and Tony award-winning sound designer Gareth Fry (David Bowie Is). Featuring the artist as its sole voice, a story composed from hundreds of interviews spanning a five-decade-long career at the cutting edge of art and culture sees Bowie invite you into his way of thinking like never before.
